Established in 1985, Poppetts Child & Babysitting Agency is one of the oldest local providers of babysitting services in Essex.  We pride ourselves on not being a large babysitting corporation, but a family run business enabling us to offer a more personal and intimate babysitting service that allows you to have time away from your home with the peace of mind that your children are safe and sound in their own environment, with a caring person looking after their needs.

All of our babysitters are experienced in childcare and carefully selected after police checks (enhanced CRB), reference checks and extensive interviews to ensure Poppetts provides a safe and reliable babysitting service which we hope you will feel confident to use time and time again, and recommend to others.  We insist that all our babysitters are mature and are non-smokers.  If you have particular babysitters that you prefer, we will endeavour to supply those babysitters each time you request a sitting.  Most of our Clients have two or three babysitters that they are happy to leave their children with and more importantly that the children themselves are happy to be left with.
